It is becoming increasingly expensive for companies to employ and retain staff to cover the broad spectrum of IT disciplines necessary to service their requirements.

TriSystems are increasingly requested to provide flexible outsourced services, tailored to address specific client needs. Under this service clients have access to the necessary skills when they need them, on a "pay as you go" basis.

The service is frequently used to cover support for legacy systems and applications where staff retention is typically problematic.

Case Studies:

Aegon Insurance was looking to significantly reduce its IT cost base and invited TriSystems to tender for the provision of a facilities management service. TriSystems was awarded the contract and the service is now in its eighth year.

We have established an excellent relationship with Aegon over the course of the contract and consequently have been invited to deliver on a range of further IT projects. We are currently working with Aegon on a strategy to further reduce operating costs.

Hitachi Credit Insurance Corporation provides value-added extended warranty and payment protection insurance products under the Nova and Novasure brands. Hitachi's expansion plans were historically constrained by the lack of flexibility and functionality of its in-house systems and a lack of available skilled resources to redevelop these facilities.Hitachi awarded TriSystems the contract to develop its IBM iSeries and associated PC applications to cater for a broader portfolio of insurance products. The project was delivered successfully within budget and on schedule.

This has enabled Hitachi to benefit from immediate and significant growth in its warranty business.Based on the successful implementation of this project, Hitachi has recently outsourced the development and support of its main application software and hardware to TriSystems on a three year facilities management contract. The next phase of the development road map has now been approved and is currently underway to enable the administration of the Payment Protection Insurance products using its core IBM iSeries systems.

A nation-wide Confectionery, Tobacco and Newsagent (CTN) chain also with a presence in the Convenience store sector. With approximately 1200 outlets branded under 'Martin the Newsagent', 'McColls Express' and 'Martin Convenience'.

TriSystems were initially contracted to provide technical support directly to their existing operations and facilities management team.Whilst demand in this area has been decreasing through their increasing experience and confidence, they have spread their support contract requirements to encompass broader technical services.
